Neal was fiercely proud of two things, his family and being Scottish. He instilled this sense of pride in his children and grandchildren. We hadn't known Neal for a long time but he certainly left a permanent and long-lasting imprint on our hearts. We will miss his hearty laugh and his "joi de vivre". Family gatherings just won't be the same without him. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and to his loving wife, Linda. Neal and Linda were truly best friends.

Thank you for being there for me and my family. I appreciate your kindness for the three years I lived here. When you picked me up from practice and took me to eat subs without me asking. I hope that when I grow up I can be half the man you were. Your family misses you and loves you. You were a strong man and thogh you have left us I take comfort in the fact that you are no longer in pain.

Daddy,
I was incredibly blessed to have such a wonderful father, and it was and honor to be with you and take care of you during your final days. People say I got my fashion sense from mommy, but we all know it was really you. Thank you for loving me and my children. I can't wait to see you in heaven!!! Love you and Miss you so very much.

I went to grade and high school with Neal, and I remember him well. He was a likeable guy, with a good sense of humor, mischievous smile, and a quick wit. The last time I saw Neal, he was the service manager for Gearhart Chevrolet, and he tried to sell me a new 1968 Corvette! I probably should have bought it!
Anyway, I am truly sorry for your loss, and Neal will remain with me in my heart and memory.

Dear Poppy, I write this note with tears in my eyes. You are already missed so much by your family. Our only peace (right now) comes from knowing that you are no longer in pain. You fought a brave fight against an awful enemy...you were very stoic. And, we were honored to be with you in the end.
We Love You, Scott, Jen, Hannah and Pat

Neal and I were always the "black sheep" wild children of our family - Altho my heart aches and I miss him so already, I have many happy memories of someone who was so like me - my love and deepest condolences to Linda, Scott, Karen, Steven, Russ, Kristen, Jen, and all his beloved grandchildren and Jack, who obsessedly loved his Dad - we'll miss your physical presence, you're gone too soon - but we have loving and happy memories to keep you alive in our hearts. No more pain - you're over the Rainbow Bridge - until we meet again, my buddy, I love you, rest in peace. Your "Cuz" - Bobbi
