Obituary of Kenneth A. Buckel

Kenneth A. Buckel, 55, died on Tuesday October 6, 2009 at Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital in Manhattan.
He was born and grew up in the Bronx before moving to the Indian Lake section of Denville, NJ in 1988.
Ken graduated from Manhattan Community College in NYC with an Assoc. degree in Business. He worked in the Financial District for many years before leaving to work for the U. S. Postal Service in Jersey City where he had been a supervisor.
His mother Elaine Graf Buckel died previously.
He is survived by his wife Maria with whom he just celebrated 30 years of marriage. He is also survived by his father Andrew and his wife Marie of Old Bridge, NJ, his siblings and their spouses Andrew and Patricia Buckel of Vernon, Thomas and Victoria Buckel of Hazlet, and Carol and Michael Dennis of Marlboro, as well as his mother and father in-law Tomasa and Wilfredo Burgos of the Bronx.
He is also survived by his nieces and nephews Andrew Buckel, Kathryn Foutch, Thomas Buckel, Cynthia Buckel, Jennifer Dennis, Paul Medina, Charisse Medina, Kristle Vazaquez, Ariel Vazaquez, Sabrina Alicea, and Gina Moynett.
Funeral from the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave. Denville, NJ www.normandean.com, on Friday Oct. 9, 2009 at 9:00 AM for a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary's R.C. Church in Denville. Please light a candle in his memory on our web site.
Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
