With that twinkle in your eyes and that hop in your step, you came into our lives as a tenant and left to soon as a special friend ! Mauro, holds a special spot in my heart he was a very gental man. I will always remember him for his sayings. I will still tie my Santa claus to my bed post in remembence of him and still remember his sayings. St.Patrick Day will be his day as well in our house.

I am sorry to hear of Mauro's passing. We met when we were 15 years old and together till around age 20. I have a lot of fond memories of all the fun times we spent going into NYC to the museums almost every week. He loved going there. We mostly went to see movies in NY as well and spent many New Year's Eve's in Times Square. We always had great times with his cousin Lou and Joanne eating out Chinese food, going to the top of the Empire State Building and our trips to the 1963-64 World's Fair in NY. I enjoyed his family and Sunday dinners.
My condolences go out to his family. May he rest in peace. God Bless.

Although I was only privileged to know Mauro for a couple of years, everytime we met, he seemed like a long time friend. He was thoughtful, kind, and generous. He was the epitome of a true gentleman.He was always looking to learn new things,and he was loaded with common sense. Because I love my daughter,Jane,the fact that Mauro was so good to her, so good for her, aand formed such a strong bond of endearment between them, his loss is all the more heartfelt for me. We will miss Mauro sorely.
