There are many memories for me growing up (all the big weddings and occasions we had then), but my fondest will be him driving all the way up from Fort Myers 7 years ago to come comfort my Dad after the passing of my mother.
I'm not entirely sure he should have been making a drive like that then, but he was undeterred and his presence was a comforting joy. It was very special for me as my kids hadn't met that many members of the Cirillo side of the family, and all three of my children were smitten with Rocky's friendliness and charm.
With all the talk these days about "legacies" for athletes and such, this to me is a legacy to be remembered, cherished and to aspire to.
Rocky, you will be missed.

When Joe married Jen in 1999, Rocco became a very special part of our family and extended family. Over the years we have shared two grandchildren and MANY funny and memorable moments. Our family always looked forward to his visits...he had a twinkle in his eye and a laugh I will forever hear in my memory. Rocco was a man of great intelligence, kindness and most of all love and devotion to his family. Rest in Peace, Rock...you will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.

Cathy and Joey, How very sorry we are for the loss of your Dad, Rocky. He and my Dad were like brothers and he was my sister Denise's godfather. We have so many wonderful memories and had many good times with all of us together guys throughout our childhood. Rocky was there when my Dad passed away and we will never forget his devotion. My mom is very sad to here of his passing. She will always remember all the good times they had together. He will be sorely missed. Our prayers and thoughts are with you.

In October of 1996, I met one of the funniest, most intelligent, loving & caring men I have ever known. And since the first moment I met him, I have loved him whole heartedly. He had childlike eyes and a smile that could light up a ball field. To hear him laugh was contagious. To hear his story's were intriguing. He meant more to me than anything I could ever express, but I always tried and he knew it! He knew exactly how much he meant to me. He was an amazing father to his children who he impressed the importance of education upon continuously and never gave up. He taught by example the fundamentals of immense family values. He was an amazing grandfather to all of his grandchildren. Always teaching them, joking with them and most of all loving them! And he was the BEST father-in-law there ever was! We had special relationship, a relationship I truly treasured and always will! Dad, you have always had a piece of my heart & always will. I am truly honored to have been loved by you! You are forever in my heart!

The pain you are experiencing will slowly ease as you remember the fondness of your lifetime with your wondferful Dad. I remember him chasing a silly young man away who rode his bike across town to try to spend time with his daughter. A very protective man. Rest in Peace Mr .Lopresti
