As you left the Earth, you entered heaven... You were truly a wonderful person, Kuya Gary. Your smile brought sunshine to anybody who witnessed it. You touched thousands. It saddens me & so many other people that you left this life early; but, we'll be seeing you in our new life. I'm glad that you're no longer suffering & that you're now happy with God. I had the honor of meeting and getting to know Gary at Merry Heart. I will always remember him with fondness and admiration. He was an exceptional man -- talented, loving, gentle and kind. I don't ever recall him saying anything negative about anyone. He always had a warm smile and a joyful laugh. He was a gifted musician and dancer who willingly encouraged others to be part of the fun. He was DJ for so many great parties at Merry Heart. My thoughts and prayers go out to all those friends and family members who will miss him immensely, especially Katherine, Alex, and Nicholas. Gary was admired and loved by so many. If there were more people like him in the world it would be a much better and happier place.

Paano ko pagmamalaki sa kanila na meron silang uncle na magaling kumanta at miyembro ng banda.. Whereever you might be right now, always take care and I know someday I will see your smile again. Footprints in the Sand
One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord. Across the sky, flashed scenes from my life. In each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand; one belonging to me, and the other to the Lord. When the last scene of my life flashed before me, I looked back at the footprints in the sand. I noticed that many times along the path of my life, there was only one set of footprints. I also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times of my life. This really bothered me and I questioned the Lord about it. "Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you, you would walk with me all the way. But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life there is only one set of footprints in the sand. I don't understand why when I needed you most, you would leave me?" The Lord replied, "My precious, precious child. I love you, and I would never ever leave you. During the times of trial and suffering, when you saw only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you." Gary, the Lord is carrying you. You are not alone. He loves you very much. He will never leave you.

Dear Hazel,
After your Lola's funeral on Thursday, June 4,2009, her children and family decided to continue praying for her soul, continue with the novena prayers started on her death on June 1. But we realized that mama wanted her family not to be sad and instead be happy that she is now in heaven looking at us and that we are united in a bond of love. So, instead of holding our novena in the house, we took a trip to Punta Fuego in Nasugbu, Batangas. There, we took to the beach and enjoyed the strong waves of the sea. It was the perfect way to ease the sadness in our hearts. And our happy faces as could be depicted from the pictures (with Darlene) was in contrast with the sadness and loneliness we felt the past many days from the time mama Flora was brought to the hospital, her stay there for 9 days, her coming home here, her death 3 days later, and the 4 days wake for her and her burial. We had planned on praying the novena in the hotel at Punta Fuego. But before the novena, we took our dinner first. It was then that I received a text message from Francis that Paul called up to inform us of the death of Gary. After I informed everyone of this sad news, we decided to include Gary in the novena prayers for your Lola Flora. The following day (yesterday), we again included Gary in the prayers. Tonight, as we gather in the house for the prayers, the novena prayers will be the 7th for mama and the 3rd for Gary. On behalf of the entire family, we express our deepest sympathy for you and your children.
Love,
Armand, Bessie, and the entire Family

Hi Honey. We miss you so much. We will always cherish the great times we shared. You're always able to cheer me up with a kind word or your smiling face no matter what. Your laugh is very infectious. I enjoy your laugh more than any comedy. You always took care of us, even now you made sure that the kids and I didn't have to think about what to do during this difficult time. Although it would be very hard without you here with us, I am comforted that you are now in heaven playing your sweet music. I know you are smiling down on us from heaven. Till we see each other again my love, my life, my best friend. I love you and you will always be in our hearts. Your loving wife, Haze

Rest in peace Dad. You are the best Dad ever! I could not ask for another one. I will always have you in my memories, heart, mind and soul. We had a lot of fun with each other by playing video games and sports. Those were good times. I love you very much. What I really about you was that you were always happy, cheerful, and always had a smile on your face. You were also very multi-talented. A lot of people miss you and love you very much. Although you are not with us, we will see you again in Heaven. Rest in peace and have a pleasant time in heaven. Your beloved son, Alex

I will forever remember that you spent your last family time with me in Las Vegas. I love how you and the kids enjoyed yourself while visiting me. We will miss you very much. I will specially remember you playing bass for me when I sang at your Uncle Paul's church. YOu are truly talented. Your infectious laugh will be embedded in my memory. I am sooo glad that you are with the Lord now and there will be no more pain....Jeremy Camp sang "there will be a day when there's no more tears, no more pain...You'll see Jesus face to face...That day has come. I love you Gary...Enjoy heaven!!! Auntie Anna

Gary, we know you're in heaven with God because you were a very loving person. I have never seen you upset or unhappy in the very few times we met. The last time we met was at the shabu place in Flushing when you brought Katherine, Alex and Nick. We had a great time and wish we can repeat those times again and again. Thanks for your kindness and friendship. We will never let you go from our minds.

Gary, I will always cherish all the memories of you, all the wonderful times that we had playing our music, and the wonderful times that we had with Greg, Haze, and the kids.
Words cannot explain how much I will miss talking with you, and laughing with you. You were always there for me in my life. The world was such a better place with you in it.
You always made everyone smile; your smile was contagious. You always looked at the positive side of things, and taught others to do that.
I know you are in a much better place now. We love you Gary, and will always, ALWAYS, remember you.

One of the nicest people I've even known. He immediately became an honorary member of our family not only because he married my sister but because he took the job seriously. Committed father and husband; the best brother-in-law anyone can ask for. Helped me with my wedding preparations and life of the party in every party he DJ'd. He truly will be missed.

Gary will be greatly missed. He was an exceptionally kind hearted, cheerful, generous, loving, caring husband and father to me and our children Alexander and Nicholas. He will always be in our hearts and minds. Although we feel brokenhearted about his early passing, we are comforted by the thought that now he is with our Father in heaven smiling down on all of us. As one of his favorite song goes - "I will rise on eagle's wings, no more sorrow, no more pain..."
Gary, we love you very much, you will be greatly missed.
