Jose Angel Alicea passed away at his home in the Hibernia section of Rockaway Twp., NJ on Saturday Aril 11, 2009.
He was 70 years old.
Born in San German, Puerto Rico, he had lived in Dover prior to moving to Rockaway Twp. NJ in 1977.
He worked as a machine operator for 30 years at Air Products, Fabricated Plastics and Plastic Fley before retiring in 2000.
Jose is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Jean (Kupecz) Alicea of Rockaway Twp., NJ. His loving children Lisa (& Tim) Abline of Mt. Arlington, and Scott (& Jayne) Alicea of Hibernia, NJ also survive him. His Grandchildren Christopher, Sean & Caitlyn, his mother in-law Velma Kupecz of Nashville, TN, his cousin Frank Ayala of Dover, NJ and his 4 brothers, Cesar, Mario, Carlos & Raymond, and 2 sisters Maria and Elizabeth also survive him.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday April 16, at 10AM at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ www.normandean.com. Friends may visit on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9PM.
