12 years ago we lost you. This year has been different from all of the rest. In some ways harder and in some, a way to greater remember those we have lost. It's been a rollercoaster professionally, socially, politically and at many times I have asked myself for your guidance. I am so thankful for all that you taught me through the years. You would be proud of your children and grandchildren. I will celebrate you tonight old man (a pint at McGees).....but always know how much you are loved and missed.

11 years. Please know that you are never forgotten by your family. I wish you could see how far we have come since the day we all were separated. I wish we could invite you to our home, that you could see your grandkids grow up......I know you would be proud of where we have all come. This year is different and please know that while I could not go to your favorite restaurant or our cherished pub, we still lifted a glass in your honor. I love you and miss you each day.

My dear Young Tomás! It took over a year to discover that you had passed away. I should have known that you would NEVER just lose contact with one of your "dwy-girls"!
I miss you SO much Tommy. I keep wanting to talk to you about politics. I keep wanting to get your perspective on those hapless "AMERICAN IDOL" contestants. I want to ask you what is a "hat trick" in hockey play – – does it involve a bunny, a black cape, and a wand? Who will I go to with my inane sports questions? And no one, I mean NO ONE, can tell a string of puns like you...
I pray that you and Jim Morrison will become buds (you guys are in heaven, so he's GOT to indulge you in a duet of "LA Woman") And I know you'll be watching the Packers kick the crap out of Pittsburgh! You have got the best seat in the house.
Love you – – my beloved dork!

I've had the pleasure of getting to know Tom pretty well over the last year. I remember how welcome he made me feel from my very first day walking into my job. He was patient, informative, and willing to go the extra step to make sure I was comfortable, having been brand new to Cortegra. He had passion in everything he did. Whenever I would walk into his office, he'd always offer me something sweet to eat (lol) and told loving stories of Kelly, John, Mike & Peace. I'll never forget the day that we were awarded the Forest Labs business, Tom always did whatever it took to make sure they were happy. Thanks to him, Forest reported back to us that they they had never been more satisfied with a supplier. This is a result of Tom's tenacity and leadership. Most importantly, he was a kind man who loved his family dearly. He will be dearly missed by everyone. My thoughts & prayers are with Tom and his family during this difficult time.

He is family. Though I didn't spend any time with his children I felt as though I knew them through the stories he so joyfully shared about each one of them. Always optimistic, loving unconditionally, and willing to listen and give the best advice is how I will remember him. He is truly a one in a million man who will be greatly missed. I am thankful to have had him as a friend and as a part of my life. He will never be forgotten and a smile will always cross my face each time I think of him just as it did each time I spoke with or saw him. My condolences to his family and loved ones. The years will stretch on before us, so bleak and dark and long,
I pray you walk beside us, Tom, and help to keep us strong.
And when our lives are over, come to each of us on that day,
and smile at us and hold us tight and help carry us away.
The wind that whispers through the trees, the brightest star at night,
a rainbow on a dismal day, a shaft of golden light,
All these are signs you’ll send to us, a message from above,
that even death can't break the bonds you taught us of Love...

There are not sufficient words in our vernacular that can describe my heartfelt sincerity on your loss. I feel so privileged to have known Tom, even if only for a few years. His kindness was one-of-a-kind, his calmness was grounding, and his thoughtfulness touched many, many hearts.
His memory will always live in your hearts, souls, and minds…… As you look upon all the new and wonderful things that come into your lives, know that he too is seeing them through your eyes.
Enjoy and cherish every day, as we know he would want it no other way.
