So sad to see this but I am familiar with the illness. My Father dies 6 years ago.

I met Norma in 1947 at Home Economic School in Havana, Cuba and we were inseparable friends since that time. She always was the sister that I never had, she was my first daughter's God Mother and I and I was her first son God Mother also. She was an
exceptionaly mother, teacher and friend. I loved her dearly and will miss her a lot.

I will always remember her sweet smile she wore all the time. I found humor in her strong cuban accent She would often tell a story cause she knew it would get a laugh when she wished for a "Lincoln". May she rest in Peace.

Love you forever, Mom ... all of my memories flood in, but mostly I remember your smile, your hugs and holding your hand ... you worked so hard for all of us, and it was rarely easy ... but you persevered, you loved and you worked harder than anyone ... we honor you by the way we live our lives, as you taught us: with true faith, hope and affection ... you were and will always be a truly beloved mother ... love you now and always, and will see you again I know ... your son, Justo
