Kathryn Rita Maresca, a 56 year resident of Denville, NJ has died at the age of 90 at her home in Denville.
Born in Yonkers, New York, Kathryn attended Alfred University, New York and married her college sweetheart, the late Domenick Maresca. Together they raised five children in Denville; Thomas (Betty-Ann), Barbara Jean (Gary), Nancy, David, and Regina.
Kathryn was blessed with 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. With the exception of Eric Wieboldt, a grandson serving in Iraq, all of Kathryn's family resides NJ and PA.
After retiring from the Morris Hills Regional School District in 1984, Kathryn volunteered at St. Clare's Hospital, Denville, thru the years she was a member of the American Home Club, the Garden Club, the Women's Club and the Senior Citizens club, all of Denville, NJ.
Kathryn's funeral will be conducted from Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ , www.normandean.com, (you may light a candle in memory of Kathryn on web site), on Friday April 3, at 9AM for a 10AM mass of Christian burial service at St. Mary's Church, Denville, NJ. Entombment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, NJ. Relatives and friends will be received on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9PM. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
