Barbara, you will be missed! You and Monroe adopted the Schleicher kids as your adopted family and we loved your friendship. Our parents have now lost both their dearest friends, but are comforted to know you are together again. You were one classy, smart lady that we all admired. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

In the short time I knew Barbara, I found her to be a lovely, intelligent and caring individual. I have very fond memories of her. When I visited her in her home she made me very welcome and relaxed.
I will miss her very much.

Dear family of Barbara Mufson, especially Dr. Alan...
It's been a privilege to know the Mufsons for many years and especially Barbara, through POWWW. My sincerest sympathy at her passing. She was truly one wonderful lady and an inspiration to all who knew her.

My thoughts are with Barbara's family at this time. I was a patient of Monroe's for many years. In fact my mother-in-law, Vivian, was Monroe's first patient. Barbara always had great style and was very committed to her community. I had the pleasure of working with her while I was president of the
friends of the Library. I will always remember the Mufson's as a very important part of the Denville community.

Ed Halbig posted a condolence
Saturday, March 28, 2009
My father, Ed Halbig, was a patient and friend of Dr. Mufson. His birthday was, as was Barbara's, March 24. Dr. Mufson and my Dad met, almost daily, at the Milk Shed for coffee. Barbara's life appears to have been fulfilled, rewarding, and blessed.

I remeber Mrs. Mufson shopping at the Grand Union for many of my 30 years there and always had a nice conversation with her. She will be back with Monroe now and rest peacefully.
