Obituary of Gottfried Stadeli

Gottfried (Fred) Stadeli passed away on Tuesday March 3rd, at home. He was 86. Fred was born in Switzerland and came to the United States in 1947, where he worked at the Swiss Bank Corporation in New York, starting as a trainee and working his way up to Vice President. He retired after 40 years and enjoyed traveling to South America and Europe. His hobbies were his house, garden and old cars. He resided in Montville since 1962 and was an active member of the Swiss Society of New York and a charter member of the Lake Valhalla Club. He is survived by his wife Trudy, two daughters, Susan and Denise, and two grandchildren. Funeral arrangements were private.
