Obituary of Doris M. Bogusat

Doris Bogusat, 85, died on Monday, February 23, 2009 at Merry Heart Nursing Home in Boonton. Doris was born and lived in Jersey City before moving to Denville in 1960, where she lived in Cedar Lake for the next twenty-five years.
In 1985 she moved to Parsippany residing for many years at Brookside Senior Apartments, where she was a past recording secretary for the tenants Assoc. Family was the loving focus of her life. She was a devoted mother grandmother and great grandmother. Doris had served on the Alter Guild at the Church of the Saviour in Denville. For many years she also did volunteer work at The Community of St. John Baptist in Mendham.
Doris is survived by her five children and their spouses, Charles and Janet Bogusat of Rockaway; Barbara and Brad Kennedy of Roxbury; Joanne and Rich Hooker of Old Bridge; Sue and Steve Adams of Denville; and Mark and Joni Bogusat of Wharton. In addition, she is survived by grandchildren, Greg and Starr Kennedy, Amy and Dan Brown, Craig Bogusat, Stacey Hooker, and Stephen Adams, and great-grandchildren, Sierra and Gianna Kennedy, as well as her sister Jean Garner of Toms River, and her brother Frank Covart of Palm Coast, Fla.
Funeral services will be held on Friday Feb. 27, 2009 at 10:00 AM at The Church of the Saviour 155 Morris Ave. Denville, NJ. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave. Denville, NJ www.normandean.com.
