To Our Cousins and their Families:
Remembering a kind, gracious woman. Eleanor always amazed us in her later years as she remembered names and asked about our children and grandchildren. She never let the world pass her by.

What a lovely and kind lady. We had so many good times in her home and I always felt that she was genuinely fond of as. I am glad I got to see her at Jude's birthday party a few years back. She was as nice as ever.

To family and friends,just want
to offer a message of comfort from God's word the Bible. It
is found at (JOHN 5;28,29) It saids,"Do not marvel at this because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial
tombs will hear his voice and come out. Those who did good things to a resurrection of life!!" God has promised to reverse all the effects of sin
even death!! Yes through God's
Kingdom which we pray for in the Lord's prayer.I hope you
comfort in what God has purposed for ALL mankind!!!

To our Lifelong friends:
Your Mom was truly unique and unforgetable! How we loved to 'hang out' at the Burke's-there was always some craziness going on and Dearest Maud smiled and carried on like the trooper that she was.The home invasions never seemed to bother her.It was as if she felt blessed to have this commotion in her life-as long as her children were happy! I wish I had told her that she was an inspiration to me -an impressionable teen. Her calmness and sense of humor never failed to amaze me and I will always carry those memories with me.And the neatest and coolest thing???That the Burke kids got to call their Mom-Maud! I was impressed..And Maud-thanks for putting up with my crazy, youthful husband,Ned.We had a ball and love you eternally!!! Rest peacefully in the garden of Life....

Eleanor was a very pleasant and quiet lady, but really enjoyed just being with her family. We didn't get to see her that often but on Christmas day she was always at Cathy & Mark's with a big hello and a smile. She'll be missed by everyone, especially her family. God Bless.

I never met Mrs. Burke, but I grew up knowing and loving her daughter Jude's family. I'm sure that as wonderful and lit up as Jude is, her mother was just the same way. My thoughts are with you, Mrs. Gedroiz.

Often on Sunday mornings the Ralph Snodsmiththeme song will sing out from our radio,"Inch by inch, row by row we're gonna make our garden grow!" and I remember how thrilled my mom was to be invited by Maude to hear Ralph in person with the Montclair Garden Club!!!
Your mom was always a favorite of all us wild teens as she let us invade her basement for our parties.
I always admired her style sense and always thought her jewelry was really cutting edge! I always especially loved her wire necklace and had to have one for myself!!!
We always had such a good time at your home and always felt so welcome by your parents. I will never forget the day you showed me your dad's kidney stones from the box in his top dresser ddrawer!!! I was amazed. We now have one of those boxes in Hank's top dresser drawer. We were so fortunate as kids to have such wonderful role models, mentors and kind loving adults to look up to during those vulnerable teen years. Having known your Mom has surely added to the joy and richness of my life and I am so thankful that she lived on Greenview Way and was my good friends Mom and I so enjoyed being in her presence. What a wonderfull well lived life. How proud she must have been of all her genius children , grands and great grands!

Please accept my sympathy on your loss.
I have and will continue to pray for "Aunt Eleanor". Your Mom lived a full life. I remember her as a kind sophisticated lady who would remember us Gustafson's with presents.
Her life is evidenced by the love she bestowed on her wonderful family.
I know Aunt Eleanor is now being welcomed in heaven by my mother. As they look down on us, I hope you do not grieve very long as they are surely pleased with the results of their nurturing.
Sincerely,
Tom Gustafson
