Mrs. Boertzel was born in New York City, NY and was a longtime resident of Paramus before moving to Rockaway Township eight years ago. Her husband Russell predeceased her in 1968. Kitty is survived by her “devoted” sister Florence, her favorite” son Kenneth and his wife Gail of Mountain Lakes, two grandchildren, Todd and Allyson who were the light of her life. The family will be receiving friends at the Norman Dean Home For Services, 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ www.normandean.com, (please light a candle in memory of Kitty on web site), on Sunday, January 25th from 2-4 and 7-9PM. Services will be held on Monday January 26th at 10:00AM at the funeral home. Interment committal services will follow at the George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus, NJ. Those who wish may contribute to a charity of their choice in her memory.
