Husband, father, grandfather
Michael Owen McCarthy, 75, died peacefully on
Tuesday December 30, 2008 at Morristown Memorial
Hospital, after valiantly battling numerous illnesses.
Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday January 3, 2009,
1 pm at St Catherine of Siena Church in Mtn. Lakes.
A visitation will be held at the family home from
3-7 pm on January 2, 2009.
Most known for his caring gentlemanly characteristics,
Michael will be remembered for his love and zest for life.
Born in Brooklyn NY, Mr. McCarthy raised his family in
Mtn. Lakes NJ, later to retire and enjoy his life between Rainbow
Lakes and travel throughout the World.
He will be remembered always by his beloved wife
of 46 years Ann, his brother Thomas McCarthy of Staten Island NY, his children, Whitney J Dubose, Michael, Thomas, Kevin, Heather and
6 cherished grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to either
The Craig School in Mtn Lakes or Morris Catholic High
School in Denville. Envelopes will be available at the church.
