Elizabeth Betty Coops Cooper, 92, died on Friday August 25, 2006 at Morris View Nursing Home in Morris Township, NJ.
She was born and grew up in Philadelphia, Pa. Later moving to Paterson until moving to live with her daughter in Boonton.
She was a nurses aid working in the pediatric unit of the North Jersey Training School in Totowa for over 25 years retiring in 1976. After her retirement she worked doing private duty home care in the Paterson area.
She loved being with her family, as well as traveling and visiting Atlantic City. She had also been an active member of St. Bonaventures parish in Paterson.
She is predeceased by her parents Francis and Ella Mansfield, her three sons Philip Cooper, Richard Cooper and Francis Harry Cooper, and by eight brothers.
She is survived by her daughter Ellen and her husband John Woloszynek of Boonton, and her son Edward and his wife Lee Cooper of Haskell, NJ, as well as her daughter in-law Mary Margaret Calligaro. She is also survived by her 13 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
A Liturgy of Christian Burial Service will be held on Tuesday Aug. 29, 2006 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart R. C. Church 145 Randolph Ave. in Clifton, NJ.
Friends may visit with the family on Monday Evening from 6-9 PM at the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave. Denville, NJ www.normandean.com.
