Obituary of Harriet A. “Hatsy” Weyant

Harriet A. Hatsy Weyant, 84, died with all her family surrounding her passed at her home in Mt. Tabor on Tuesday July 18, 2006.
Mrs. Weyant was born in Newark, NJ, raised in Irvington, NJ and summered and became a permanent resident in Mt. Tabor, NJ in 1949. She attended Berkley Secretarial School in East Orange, NJ. She was employed at Morristown Memorial Hospital, Morristown, NJ as an Executive Secretary in the Radiology Dept. for 25 years retiring in 1990.Mrs. Weyant was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, the Mt. Tabor Country Club being an avid golfer she had a hole in one. She was a member of the United Methodist Church at Mt. Tabor.
Her husband Irving J. Weyant in 1978 and her son William Weyant in 1992 predeceased Mrs. Weyant. Her daughter Audrey Hart and her husband Edward of Columbia, her grandchildren Lori, Thomas, James, and Lisa, and her niece Nancy Dattel survive her.
A funeral service at the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Avenue, Denville, NJ www.normandean.com on Friday July 21st at 4:00 p.m. Interment committal graveside services on Saturday July 22nd at 10:00 a.m. at Restland Memorial Park DeForest Avenue, East Hanover, NJ. Relatives and friends will be received on Friday July 21st from 2-4 p.m.
