John A. Seefranz passed away at St. Clares hospital in Dover, NJ on July 9, 2006.
He was 67 years old
.
Born in New York, NY, he had lived in Pinebrook for 29 years before moving to Rockaway Twp., NJ 10 years ago.
He received his bachelors degree in mathematics in 1960 from Manhattan College in NY City.
John had been a computer manager at Hunter College in New York State for 14 years before retiring in 2001.
He was President of the Montville Board of Health, President of the Montville Broncos Association, He had coached football, and womens softball in the town of Montville, he was a CCD teacher at St. Pius X in Montville, and was a Eucharistic minister at St. Pius X, and St. Clements Church in Rockaway Twp, NJ. John was also the treasurer of the Town square Village Home Owners Association.
He is survived by his wife and childhood sweetheart Helena (kelemen) for 46 years of Rockaway, NJ. He is also survived by his children Toni (& Anthony) Pecci of Parsippany, Lisa (& Rick) Mohr of Succasunna, Ariane (& Mike) Schmidt of Rockaway, NJ, Eric (& Selina) Seefranz of Yonkers, NY. His grandchildren Kevin, Michael, Brian, Allison, Danielle, Courtney and Eric, and his Mother Phyllis Seefranz of Mt. Arlington, NJ also survive him.
Funeral from Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ www.normandean.com on Wednesday July 12, at 8:30AM for a Liturgy of Christian Burial at St. Clement Pope & Martyr Church in Rockaway Twp, at 9:30AM. Friends may visit on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9PM.
