Alan David Thoburn Sr. passed away at St. Clares Hospital in Denville, NJ on June 29, 2006.
He was 84 years old.
Born in Pacific Grove, CA he had lived in Denville, NJ since the 1960s
He had served in the U.S. Army during WWII from 1941 to 1949.
Alan received his bachelors degree from Stanford University in 1956 and went on to be a plant manager for Hewlett Packard in Paramus, NJ for 30+ years before retiring in 1984.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Ruth (Rogers) Thoburn of Denville, NJ.
His two sons Alan David Thoburn Jr. (& Ceil Minark) of Jamestown, CA, and Scott (& Paula) Thoburn of Bend, OR also survive him. He is also survived by his grandchildren Alan David III (& Christine) Thoburn, of Newport, R.I. and Jennifer Marcos (& Juan Jose Rodriguez) of Denville, NJ and his Great Grandchildren Kase, Austin, and Walker Thoburn of Newport, R.I. and Isabel Marcos of Denville, NJ.
