Louise D. Tarascio, 91, died with her loving family surrounding her at her home in Parsippany, NJ.
Mrs. Tarascio was born in Irvington, NJ and was a resident of Parsippany, NJ since 1948.
Mrs. Tarascio was a homemaker. She enjoyed traveling with her late husband in their 31 Airstream. She also enjoyed sewing clothes for herself and her family. She learned to quilt at the age of 74 and made seven queen size quilts for her children and grandchildren. Devoted to her family, she was generous to others as well, crocheting more than 50 lap robes for nursing home residents. Though she was limited physically in her recent years, her mental acuity was unlimited, as was her skill at playing pinochle. She was beloved by all her family and remained a vital, vibrant force in the lives of all who knew and loved her.
Her husband Louis predeceased Mrs. Tarascio in 1988. Her son Louis J. Tarascio and his wife Eileen of Lake Hopatcong, her two daughters; Arlene Santoro and her husband Pasquale of Shohola, Pa, Barbara J. McGrath and her husband Thomas of Oak Ridge, NJ, Five Grandchildren, Donna Lynn Dench, Lyle K. Smith, Lauren Ann Laird, Christine Louise Kuznar, Matthew Christopher Santoro, 10 great grandchildren, Jessica, Heather, Eric A., Austin, Garrett, Shannon, Angela, Eric. C, Jillian, and Dominic, and her sister Eleanor Koecher of Plantation, FL survive her.
Funeral from the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Avenue, Denville, NJ www.normandean.com on Monday July 3rd at 9:00a.m. For a 10:00a.m. Liturgy of Christian Burial service at St. Marys Church Denville, NJ. Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery East Hanover, NJ.
