Obituary of Robert J. Zeleny

Robert J. Zeleny, 68, died on Sunday June 25, 2006 at St. Clares Hospital Dover, NJ. Bob was born and raised in Astoria, Queens, NY, later moving to Jackson Heights and then to Rockaway Twp, NJ in 1970. He was a manager for Entenmanns Bakery in Little Falls, NJ where he had worked from 1968 until he retired in 1993. His life was based around his family. He is survived by his wife of 47 years Joan A. Kanakos. His children Bob and his wife Debbie Zeleny of Denville, Judy and her husband John Searfoss of Rockaway, Steve Zeleny and his friend Joy Siragusa of Rockaway, and Charlie Zeleny of Rockaway and his friend Kristen Ackley. He is also survived by his grandchildren Dana and RJ Zeleny, and Tommy, Helaina, Kevin and Ian Searfoss. A liturgy of Christian Burial Service will be held on Thursday June 29, 2006 at 10:00 AM at St. Clement Pope and Martyr R. C.
