Obituary of Irma Velez

Irma Velez, 82, died on Saturday June 24th at the Morris View Nursing Home in Morris Township, NJ. Mrs. Velez was born in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, she resided in New York City, NY for 30 years, after her husbands retirement they settled in Toa Alto, Puerto Rico. Mrs. Velez for the last seven years was a resident in Rockaway Township, NJ. She was a homemaker. Her husband Luis predeceased Mrs. Velez in 1999. Two sons Luis Velez and his wife Joyce of Colorado Springs, CO, Ricardo Velez and his wife Milaeros of Middletown, NY, and one daughter Ivelsie Stamatiades and her husband Joseph of Rockaway Township, NJ survive her. She was the grandmother of Christine Anne, Marc Adam, Jessica Marie, Melissa Ann, and Natassia Sara. She is also survived by two sisters and two brothers all of Puerto Rico. Interment services at Gate of Heaven Cemetery East Hanover, NJ Relatives and friends will be received on Monday June 26th from 2-4 & 7-9p.m. In lieu of flowers donations to Susan G.
