Lois B. Olson, 88, entered into eternal rest on Monday June 19, 2006 at the Care One at Madison, Morristown, NJ.
Mrs. Olson was born in Caledonia, Ontario, Canada; she came to the United States when she was one year old. Mrs. Olson was a resident of Kearny for many years before moving to Mt. Tabor, NJ in 1990. Mrs. Olson was a purchasing agent for A T & T in Newark, NJ for 22 years retiring in 1985. Mrs. Olson was a former West Hudson Girl Scout Commissioner, a member of the Telephone Pioneers, Newark Communications Life Member, Chapter #132, Life member of the International Training in Communications / former Toastmistress, and a member of the National Association of Parliamentarians the Dorothy B. McGlade Unit, Millburn, NJ, member of the Mt Tabor Garden Club, member of the Parsippany Senior Citizens Club and past president in 1992- 1994 and 1998.
Beloved wife of the late Everett A. Olson. Mother of Bruce Olson of Mt. Tabor, NJ and Margaret Bishop and her husband Jim of LaPlata, MD. Sister of Fred Bickle of Silverdale, WA.
Relatives and friends will be received on Friday June 23rd from 9:00a.m. To time of service at 11:00a.m at the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Avenue, Denville, NJ, www.normandean.com.
