My thoughts and prayers go out to the family members, friends and fellow officers of Officer Gary Buro.
When I read online Friday about the death of Officer Gary J. Buro it really touched a spot in my heart as my husband is also a police officer in Virginia and when something like this happens to one it affects all the families of law enforcement.
I was even more sadden when I received calls Sunday morning from family back in NJ and realized that Officer Gary J. Buro was the same Gary Buro that I graduated with from Jefferson Township High School in NJ back in 1990.
He will be missed by all of those whose lives he's touched.</b></font><br><br>

My husband John and I only met Gary once, through my friend, Kathy. In that one evening it was easy to understand what Kathy had found in him. We are glad for that chance to have known Gary. We always said we should get together again and because of busy lives and distance, it never happened. What I did know of Gary was through Kathy's eyes as they would brighten every time she spoke of him. Please accept our deepest sympathies for your loss. We know EXACTLY how Agnes and Ralph feel and know what they are and will be going through.
