Obituary of Mary C. Tator

Mary Campbell Pert Tator died peacefully on Wednesday, May 8, at the age of 90 with many of her family at her side. Mary was an accomplished physical therapist and homemaker with degrees from Averett and New York Universities.
A long-time resident of Tenafly, NJ, Easton, PA, Sewickley, PA, and Lakehurst, NJ, Mary moved to Florham Park, NJ, a little over a year ago to be closer to her family. In retirement she enjoyed golf, flower arranging, traveling, and most especially watching her family flourish.
Mary is survived by her three children, George D. Breece of Green Pond, NJ, David E. Breece of Deerfield Beach, FL, and Nancy Breece Mion of Summit, NJ, along with their spouses, respectively, Judith Brown, Mingxia Ni Breece, and James Mion, and her three grandchildren, Allison Pert Mion, Nicole Rainey Mion, and Mini Luo.
She is also survived by her stepdaughter, Bonnie Stibitz of Easton, and Bonnie’s husband, Tim, and sons Garrett and Justin. Mary is pre-deceased by her parents, George Pert and Edith Hutcheon Pert, by her two loving brothers, George H. Pert and Dr. James H. Pert, by her husbands, George E. Breece and Kenneth Tator, and by her beloved friend, Frank Jordan.
A memorial service will be held later this summer with interment at The Brookside Cemetery in Englewood, NJ. Remembrance donations may be made to The Presbyterian Church of Toms River, Toms River, NJ, or to The Alzheimer’s Association (Alz.org).
