Obituary of Marjorie King Young
Marjorie King Young passed away at St. Clares Hospital in Denville on April 8, 2006.
She was 83 years old.
Born in Morristown she had graduated from Morristown High School in 1939, and received her Bachelors Degree in Elementary education from Newark State Teachers College in 1943.
She had moved to Denville in 1950 where she has lived ever since and has been living at Franciscan Oaks for the last 6 years.
Marjorie was a school teacher for the Denville Board of Education teaching at Main Street School for 20 years before retiring in 1967. She was also a bookkeeper for L.S. Young & Sons Coal and Oil and Transportation Business, which was owned by her husband and his brother, and started by their father in the beginning of the 1900s until 1999.
She is pre deceased by her husband William S. Young in 1998, her brothers Clifford in 1991, and Preston King in 1998, and also her sister Annabelle Parsons in 2002.
Her sisters Roberta Tracey of Madison, NJ and Sara Goble of Stuart, FL and her sister in-law Marguerite King of Manahawkin, NJ and many Nieces & Nephews also survive her.
Her sons of heart Robert Heller of Pennsylvania, and Bruce McCarter of Denville, NJ also survive her.
