James T. Murphy Jr., 82, died on Friday April 7, 2006 at Saint Clares Hospital, Denville, NJ.
Mr. Murphy was born in East Orange, NJ and has been a resident of Denville, NJ for the last 56 years. Mr. Murphy served in the United States Navy during WW II as a Radioman Third Class and served on Merchant Marine Vessels during his career in the Navy.. Mr. Murphy was employed as a salesman at General Food, NYNY and was a Vice President of Hooper Holmes, Basking Ridge, NJ and after his retirement he was a real estate agent for Weichert Realtors.
His wife of 57 years Edith Loeloff Murphy and his son Brian Murphy and his wife Paula of Stanhope, NJ, survive Mr. Murphy.
Funeral arrangements handled thru Norman Dean Home for Services, Denville, NJ. All funeral services are private.
