Charles E. Morrow passed away at his home in the White Meadow Lake section of Rockaway Twp., NJ on October 18, 2008. He was 85 years old. Born in Baltimore, MD, he had lived in Rockaway, NJ for the last 60 years. Charles served in the Army Air Corps during WWII, where he saw action in Northern Africa, Italy, and France. He had worked at Warner Lambert in Morris Plains, NJ as an Associate Scientist for 33 years before retiring in 1986. Charles was member of the First Baptist Church of Dover, Rockaway, where he was also the treasurer, in the choir, and the church band where played drums. He was a member of the Civilian Conservation Corps, he was an avid golfer, and was also a charter member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians Ring #162 in Plainfield, NJ. He is predeceased by his wife Betty (Vanderhoof) in 2001. His children Leona L. (& Wayne) Lewis of Marcella, NJ and Charles E. Jr. (& Nancy) Morrow of Stroudsburg, PA, and his sister Clara Hoffman of MI survive him. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday October 22, at 10AM at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ www.normandean.com. Friends may visit on Tuesday evening from 6-8PM.
