Obituary of Edwin E. Bauman

Edwin E. Bauman, 82, died on Thursday March 23, 2006 at the N.J. Veterans Home in Paramus, NJ.
Ed was born in New York City, and grew up in Richfield Park, later moving to Bogot and Mahwah, NJ before moving to Bayonne, Clifton and finally Paramus.
He served in the U. S. Army Air Corp during WWII.
After the war he went on to Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken where he received a BS in Mechanical Engineering, and a MS in Industrial Engineering.
He owned and operated manufacturing plants in Hackensack, Shield Craft, Inc. where he manufactured sports equipment, and Glidelite Industries where he manufactured high intensity lighting.
He has been a member of the Central Unitarian Church in Paramus.
His wife Marjorie died in 1979.
He is survived by his children Bruce, and his wife Beth of Denville, NJ, Barbara Stem of Drumond, MT, Barry of Royersford, PA, Brad, and his wife Peggy of Castleton, VT, nine grandchildren, and long time companion Annie Kaplan of Madison, AL.
Memorial Services will be held on Friday, May 12th, 2006 at 4:00 P.M. at the Central Unitarian Church 156 Forest Ave Paramus, NJ 07652. Donations are being accepted to the churchs memorial fund in his name. Arrangements by the Norman Dean Home for Services Denville, NJ www.normandean.com.
