Dear Mari: One month tomorrow of your parting with us to meet Our Lord.....
Even though my heart overjoys knowing that you are in His presence, accompanied by your Mom, Dad, Bita, Bito, July and other loved daparted ones, I still cry daily, not for you but for me and the loved ones you left behind: Noel, Carlos, Gregg, Kyle and others that loved you so much.
Dear friend, dear sister, HOW I MISS YOU!! How many times in the day I think of you, our times together, our shared joys, our shared sorrows, our shared life.... There will never be another you in my life. I was blessed to have met you when we are just 9 years old at school. How I remember that day!! It was the beginning of these long but meaningful 55 years.!!
Watch over us dear sister, as you watched over us for all these years. My prayers will continue to be with you, that your life in heaven be as fulfilled to you and everyone around you in Paradise as it was here, and that your light be as bright!!!
Till we meet again.....
All my love,

I am so saddened by this news. I had the distinct pleasure of working with Maria for a while. Let me say that she was one of the most warm-hearted, sincere, elegant and classy women that I have ever met. She will be deeply missed.

Whenever I think of Maria, I smile. She was a bright spot in every day. She was so full of energy and life, and so devoted to her family! She loved color and fashion and always looked fabulous. We worked together for many years and shared many stories. She will be missed by all the friends she's made over the years; and certainly by me.

I am very sad to here of Maria's passing. She was a caring loving person and was always there for my business needs as well as a friend. Maria was more a friend than a co-worker. Maria was a beautiful person and I am very honored to have worked with her and know her. She will be missed.

Maria who used to work with my wife Evelyn is such a wonderful person. In fact she took my wife as her own daughter and I remember her saying a few times that we met that my wife Evelyn was the daughter that she never had. She was a kind woman to my wife and me personally, and Maria would be sorely missed. I spoke with her three weeks ago and she told me that she would like her husband Noel, herself, Evelyn and I to meet one of these days fro dinner, little did I know that, that was the time I was talking to her. Evelyn and I would have loved to visit Maria before she passed away. We love her as a mother and friend. May her soul rest in perfect peace.
