Kathy and I worked together and moved to different areas of the country, but we always kept in touch. I cherished our chats and there are not many friends that no matter how long since our last visit, we would pick up where we left off. We talked freely about everything and we were comforting to each other. Kathy always said that if she could do it over she wouldn't change a thing as the cancer made her a better person. Kathy's love and respect for Joe was unwavering. She could handle the disease but worried about how hard it was for Joe. With all of my heart I will miss Kathy but I know she will be the angel watching over us. God's love and light my dear friend.

I admire Kathy's courage and she was an inspiration to me with my own battle with breast cancer. For many years we lost contact as I moved to California shortly after Joe and Kathy's wedding. But when she heard what I was going through, she contacted me to give her support and advice. Such a loving an caring person will surely be missed.

Kathy,
I am so saddened by your passing. I keep thinking of all the great times spent growing up. Christmas Eve at your house, clubbing in our twenties. We were all so close. I can't imagine the pain that Debbie and Joanne must be going through...So young to lose a dear sister. I hope you are at peace and free of pain and suffering.
Know that you have been in my thoughts and prayers.
Cousin Lenore

Aunt Kathy,
You are so much more than an aunt to me. You are my friend, my inspiration, and the woman I always aspired to be. We have laughed, told stories, cried, and just sat in silence and with each moment, a memory was created. These moments will never be forgotten and will be cherished always.
Without you, life will never be the same, but I will adopt your strength and power and continue in your footsteps.
I know grandmom has already shown you the way and I hope that you two fly together in harmony. You will always be my guardian angel and my hero. You will forever live in my heart.
I love you always and will cherish everything and every moment you've given me.
Rest in Peace my dearest Aunt,
Amanda

I too worked with Kathy at the Thermo Fisher office in Chicago. My wife and I moved to New Jersey at about the same time Kathy and her husband came back.
Kathy was a very special person and one of the nicest people I have ever met. Her personality, work ethic, and spirit made her a pleasure to be around.
I was very saddened to find out the she had cancer, but knew that she would fight her hardest and do everything in her power to endure. And she did, fighting every day to live as long as possible. The world is much lessened by her passing. God bless you Kathy.

The tide recedes but leaves behind
bright seashells on the sand
The sun goes down, but gentle warmth still lingers on the land
The music stops and yet it echoes on in sweet refrain
For every joy tha passes something beautiful remains
Kathy, I see you now on that distant shore as you were meant to be, vibrant, healed , radiant, secure in the warmth of your creators loving embrace. I will miss your laughter, your compassion, your strength. Dear sister-in-law, friend, confidant. Till we meet again.... Love, monica

I had the pleasure of being Kathy's Manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific for many. many years while she worked in the Chicago Call Center and as a good friend and fellow employee when she moved to the Morris Plains NJ site in another job role. Her energy, positivity, and focus on getting a job done was contagious. What was so endearing about Kathy beyond her genuine love of people and deep friendships was the way she whipped customers into shape..if you were working with Kathy you better stay on track! She did all of this with deep respect for her customers as well as for the sales and customer service teams she worked with.
It is with a very heavy heart that I say goodbye to one very extraordinary and talented person and wish her safe journey to the hand of God as she reunites with family and friends who have gone before her.
With deepest condolences,
Eleanor and Al Kamieniecki

She was truly an inspiration to our NY and NJ sales team during those times at the Fisher distribution warehouse located in Morris Plains, NJ. Kathy was truly a great friend to everyone. My Dear Sister In-Law Kathy was always a devoud Christian and Cathlic who had faith in God and her country.
She knew that she can overcome this dredfull sickness and was persurference in doing that.
She knew that meeting this challange in her life head on was going to be difficult but possibly achievable.
She knew that having Faith in God , Angels and Saints would help to be her road to comfort.
She met all challanges head on and never did she complain
She knew that her family was behind her all the way.
She knew that God was her mentor and would be a soldare of God.
To the last day of her breadth she fought on and not giving up to leave us.
However, in the last minutes she could not overcome the sickness.
My Kathy has become a member of God's army in helping others to do the same.
But now she is in home in Heaven in the everlasting light.
All the paine and grief is over
Every restless tossing passed and safely home in Heaven at last.
So, we all must have faith that enabled her to meet this sickness for 10 years and pray for Kathy each day as we all continue our lives forward.
I will Miss You Kathy So Dearly.but know you have now another life to enjoy a peacefull closure that we all may enjoy each day
Love You
Tommy

Mary and I have had the privilege of knowing and being friends with Kathy and Joe for many and there is a hole in our hearts with her departure.
