Paul Gerard Pascal, 80, died at his residence in Denville after complications of Diabetes on Sunday January 22, 2006. Mr. Pascal was born in Morristown and was a life long resident of Denville. Mr. Pascal was an Eagle Scout and was All County Football Tackle for the Mountain Lakes High School. He served during World War II in the United States Navy afterward he played semi pro football with the Denvilles Gardner-Royals Football Team. Mr. Pascal was a Tool & Die maker employed by Dogenbach Co., Mt. Tabor, NJ for 15 years and APW Co., Rockaway, NJ for 10 years retiring in 1996. Mr. Pascal was blind since he was 42 years old and he managed to work and raise his family and contribute to his community very nicely. Mr. Pascal was a volunteer Denville Firemen and former Captain of the First Aid Squad and was a Denville Exempt Firemen. Mr. Pascal was an avid hunter. Mr. Pascal was the beloved husband of the late Agnes Marie Pascal. He was the Loving father of Carolyn Pascal of Denville. Brother of Elsie Rodeman of Denville. Uncle of Rene Thorsen and her husband Ronnie of Basking Ridge, Connie Spiegel and her husband Kurt of Evergreen, CO, and Stephen Powers and his wife Patricia of Maspeth, NY also survived by 12 grand nieces and nephews. Funeral service on Friday January 27th at 11:00a.m. At Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Avenue, Denville, NJ www.normandean.com. Interment services at Hackettstown Union Cemetery.
