Kirk A. Mellen 66, died at Morristown Memorial Hospital, Morristown on Tuesday Jan. 10th.
Mr. Mellen was born in Wethersfield, Ct and was a resident for 30 years in the Lake Arrowhead section of Denville, NJ. Mr. Mellen was an Insurance Executive for AIG Insurance Co., New York, New York for many years retiring 15 years ago. Mr. Mellen was and avid birder a volunteer for the New Jersey Audubon Society and a member of the Mountain Lakes Badminton Club.
He was the beloved husband of Pat Balko.
Relatives and friends will be received on Friday January 13th from 2-4 & 7-9p.m. In lieu of flowers donations to the New Jersey Audubon Society 9 Hardscrabble Road, Bernardsville, NJ 07924 would be appreciated.
