Kenneth Robert Bob MacKenzie died Friday November 11th at home. Mr. MacKenzie was born in Morristown, NJ in 1945, he lived all his life in Cedar Lake and Rainbow Lakes, both in Denville, NJ. Mr. MacKenzie graduated from Rider College with a BS in Accounting and for many years worked as an accountant. His passion for creativity and desire to be an entrepreneur led him to start a Solar Heating and Cooling business, and for many years, enjoyed this line of work. He also worked as a home energy inspector, and most recently was part owner of a limousine business. He retired in 2003 and traveled the US, fulfilling a life-long dream. Father of Kenneth Roderick MacKenzie III of Garner, NC and Carla Genevieve MacKenzie of Raleigh, NC. Grandfather of Colin Kenneth. Brother of Wanda Lou Goldsworthy of Whitehouse Station and Kimerly Rae MacKenzie of Wharton. Uncle of many nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held on Saturday November 19th at 11:00a.m. At Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ www.normandean.com. Relatives and friends will be received on Friday November 18th from 2-4 & 7-9p.m. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Lung Association.
