Obituary of Helen M. Condon Murray

Helen M. Condon Murray, 88, died on Thursday November 10, 2005 at Crestwood Nursing Home in Whippany, NJ. She was born in New York City and lived in Whippany, from 1948 to 1987 when she moved to Florida for eight years, returning to Flanders in 1995. Helen had worked for Bell Labs in Whippany before retiring in 1975; prior she had worked for Sears, Roebuck & Co. Department Store in Morristown as a Department Manager. Her first husband Robert V. Condon, Sr. died July 29, 1964, and her second husband James I. Murray died Dec. 15, 1995. She is survived by her children and their spouses Marie and Robert Smith of Flanders, Patricia and Jesse Quadrel of Whippany, Robert V. Condon, Jr., formerly of Short Hills and Summit, William and Debbie Condon of Hopatcong, and Richard Condon of Whippany, eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She is also survived by her stepchildren Terrance Murray of Millburn, Cathleen Brady of Spring Lake, and Patricia Thomas of Hawaii. Funeral services will be held on Monday November 14, 2005 at 9:00 AM at the Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Avenue, Denville, NJ www.normandean.com for a 10:30 AM Liturgy of Christian Burial Services at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton R. C. Church in Flanders, NJ. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Donations are being accepted to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Building Fund, 61 Main St., Flanders, NJ 07836.
