Mary E. Mountford (Smith) passed away at Merry Heart Nursing Home in Succasunna, NJ on November 4, 2005.
She was 85 years old.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, she had moved to the Lake Arrowhead section of Denville, NJ in 1939 where she has lived ever since.
Mary was a member of the Lake for 66 years and was past president of the Ladies Auxillary, as well as a member of the Denville Womens Club.
She is pre deceased by her husband of 65 years, the late Robert H. Mountford Jr. who passed away in 2004.
Her daughters Barbara Schaer of Ocean Grove, and Diana Hettinger of Stanhope, NJ survive her.
Her six grandchildren Carl, Marc & Michael Proetto, and Yvonne Nunn, Deborah Fluri & Robert W. Greame Jr. and sixteen Great Grandchildren also survive her.
Funeral services by Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ www.normandean.com will be graveside at Denville Cemetery on Tuesday November 8, 11:00AM. Friends may visit on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9PM.
