Brenda and I were friends in high school. We called each other "Chicky". I remember her and I would wear the same thing to school and freak each other out! People said we looked like sisters! She was a wonderful, true friend. I admired her strength. She was always there with a laugh and a smile. I last saw her a few years ago when she told me she had cancer. We cried. Right in the middle of Kmart! We exchanged addresses. We never wrote to each other. Oddly, I just thought of her the other day when I came across her address. Brenda, I always looked up to you. I never knew you were going through all of this. I wish I could have been there for you. You were there for me when my mother died. I love ya, Chicky. I will miss your sweet smile...

Scott:
Brenda was a very special person ... devoted wife, mother, sister-in-law, and friend.
Although too many years have passed since we have seen each other, you were all always close in thought.
Brenda will remain in my heart forever.
You and the kids are in my prayers.
Love you all,
Cheryl
