Cora Mae MacKenzie, 89, died on Wednesday October 5, 2005 at Compassionate Care Hospice in Dover, NJ. She was born in Lucketts, Virginia and moved to Chester, NJ as a little girl. She moved to the Rainbow Lakes section of Denville 62 years ago. During WWII she was an assembler at Picatinny Arsenal, and later worked as a bank teller for Chase Manhattan Bank in Denville and then for the Picatinny Federal Credit Union in Rockaway Twp. Where she retired in 1995. She has been a member of the Rainbow Lakes Community Club. Her husband Kenneth R. MacKenzie Jr. Died July 14, 1997. She is survived by her three children Wanda Lou Goldsworthy of Whitehouse Station, NJ, Kimerly MacKenzie of Wharton, and Kenneth MacKenzie of Denville, NJ. She is also survived by her grandchildren Jo Ann, Tom, David, Robert, Sarah, Carrie, Kenneth III, Carla, Malia, and David and by her great grandchildren Christopher, Matthew, Olivia, Elizabeth, Edward, and Collin as well as her sisters Frances Tester of Saylorsburg, Pa., and Carrie Evelyn Federowicz of Bradenton, Fla. Funeral Services will be held on Sat. Oct. 8, 2005 at 10:00 AM at the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave. Denville, NJ., www.normandean.com. Friends may visit with the family on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Donations are being accepted to Compassionate Care Hospice 400 West Blackwell St. Dover, NJ 07801.
