Donald A. MacKenzie, 75, died on Tuesday Oct.4, 2005 at his home in Weathersfield, VT. He was born in Morristown, NJ and moved to the Cedar Lake section of Denville, in 1935. He later moved to Weathersfield, VT. In 1993. He had served in the US Army during the Korean War. Donald retired as a lineman for Jersey Central Power and Light Co. in Boonton, NJ in 1992 after 36 years. He had been a member of the Cedar Lake Community Club in Denville. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Helen B. (Barattiero), three children Christine Luongo and Karen Luke both of Rockaway, and Kenneth MacKenzie of Landing. He is also survived by his six grandchildren, Michelle and Allison Luongo, Richard P. III, and Emily Luke, and Sammie and Connor MacKenzie. Family and friends are gathering on Monday Oct. 10, 2005 at 11:00 AM at Denville Cemetery for graveside services. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave. Denville, NJ www.normandean.com.
