John Pedersen, 79, died at residence at Scottsdale, AZ on Sunday October 2, 2005. Mr. Pedersen was born in Norway, came to the United States and lived in Brooklyn, NY and was a resident of Rockaway, NJ. He was a 50-year member of the UBLJ and a member of the Carpenters Local #620 in Madison, NJ. He was a General Foreman for all carpentry at the Meadowlands Race Track and did carpentry at Morristown General Hospital. Beloved husband of the late Germaine L. Pedersen. Father of Norman Pedersen of Charlton, MA, James Pedersen of Olstead, NH, Joan Skully of Columbus, OH, and Lori Pedersen of Williamstown, MA, also survived by four grandchildren. Brother of Peter Pedersen of Billing, MT, David Pedersen of Tryon, NY, Enok Pedersen of New York City, NY, Olav Pedersen of Rocky Hill, NY, Anny Moskeland of Huntington, NY, Marlene Caridi of Catskills, NY, and Astrid Nadby of Boynton Beach, FL. Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Friday Oct 7th at 10:00a.m. At the Denville Community United Methodist Church 190 Diamond Spring Rd., Denville, NJ. Friends and relatives will be received on Thursday Oct 6th, 2 4 & 7-9p.m. at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ www.normandean.com. Interment services at Denville Cemetery.
