Immaculata Flammia (Raccioppi) passed away at St. Clares Hospital in Dover on August 25, 2005. She was 70 years old. Born in Pescapagano, Italy, she had come to the US in 1962 and lived in Rockaway, NJ for 36 years before moving to Wharton 6 years ago. Immaculata was a homemaker and a member of the St. Clement Pope & Martyr Church in Rockaway Twp, a volunteer at St. Clares Hospital and was also a member of the Franciscan Order in Oak Ridge, NJ. She is pre deceased by her husband Antonio who passed away in 1987. She is survived by her children Anthony Flavio (& Colleen) Flammia of Flemington, NJ, Bryan (& Elizabeth) Flammia of Rockaway, and Theo (& Jan) Flammia of Denville, NJ. Her grandchildren Justin, Kevin, Christine, Nicole, Ryan, Antonio, Luca and Joseph also survive her as well as many nieces and nephews in Italy. Funeral from Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ www.normandean.com on Monday August 29, at 9AM for a Liturgy of Christian Burial at St. Clement Pope & Martyr Church in Rockaway Twp. At 10AM. Friends may visit on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9PM. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to:The American Heart Association or to The American Diabetes Association.
