It is with deepest sympathy to the Luzzi Boys that I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your Dear Mother. She was such an incredible lady, and I remember meeting her on many occasions at Gardener Field in Denville as I was growing up. She would be there either working the refreshment booth or watching you play ball. I recall one time when she invited me to your Indian Lake home to help her around the house and to talk to her because she said it was fun having a girl around the house!
Your Mom has left a stamp with the fondest memories on everyone's heart who knew her.
May God bless you at this tough time and give you the strength to continue and to cherish the love she leaves behind for you.
With much love and condolences...

I was so sad when I heard about the passing of my "Aunt" Pat. Reading all the notes of blessings and
memories from all the people and families she has touched presents a common theme of an extremely giving, fun loving spirited person
who was an awesome cook and let's face it the best bargain shopper around. She taught me well - Marshall's will forever be grateful for her contribution
towards the opening of their northeast division stores. I have so many memories that I and my family (the Blum's) will cherish forever.
Some of the best ones for me... playing hooky and heading to the shore for the day. It has hard to pass up the call I'd get at night
claiming it would be a shame if we missed such a great beach day so we would head to Pt. Pleasant for Risden's Beach! - so many great times at the Shore and at Indian Lake!
Love and prayers to the wonderful Luzzi Family.

As a young boy, I had the most extraordinary summers at Indian Lake, New Jersey. My best friends were Dan and Mike Luzzi, and to this day I remember their mom with profound happiness. Three months of crazy, joyful times in their house with a firestorm of activities, motion, food, swimming lessons and never a sad day. I can vividly recall the Luzzi dinner table rule: vegetables first, meat last. I remember Dan walking on his tiptoes everywhere. In later years, in one of our rare adult meetings, he and Mike humiliated me on a basketball court. I worked for Pat's husband for a summer or two in his Italian Deli, dropping milk containers and making lasagne, the recipe I still use today. Pat was an extraordinary soul, full of love and passion and motion, somehow managing such a large family. Those summers with her and her family, helped form my young adulthood, and I am so thankful for her warmth, generosity and care. My family and I send our condolences to Dan, Mike and the rest of your family.

It has been awhile since I've seen any of the family. But I remember Aunt Pat while growing up as a kid in Indian lake, I'd be walking past they're house on the way someplace, or down by Uncle Dannys store. I had went to high school with two of her sons, Pat, and Joe. I also remember anytime I saw Aunt Pat, she was always smiling and had something nice to say.

Dear Danny, Michael, David and Patrick and the entire Luzzi family….It is with an unbelievably sad and heavy heart we say goodbye to your “One of Kind” Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Aunt….May the peace which comes from the memories of love shared, comfort you now and in the days ahead.
Our families have been wonderfully connected since our mothers met at the bus stop some 49 years ago and a true friendship of a lifetime was born! The joyous memories shared are literally limitless…we will never forget those 4th of July Parties (I can still see our Mom’s dancing and singing It’s a Grand Old Flag), after Thanksgiving parties, NYE’s, football games, weddings, vacations down the shore and abroad, countless dinner parties and too many more events and occasions to mention all of which centered on the enjoyment and true passion and love of family and friends.
I personally have known Aunt Pat my entire life and was so blessed to have spent such wonderful amount of time with her while I was growing up and have an amazing amount of the fondest memories….I will never forget her taking me for driver’s license….teaching me how to cook…getting our nails done...shopping etc….I learned early on we shared a very special bond and the PASSION that came with both being Scorpio’s …..She was a source inspiration for me and I will never forget her …
Our love and sympathy goes out to the entire Luzzi Family and all those lucky enough to have been touched in their life by Aunt Pat…..May their be comfort in that she is reunited with Uncle Sonny, Peter and Joseph.
Aunt Pat…..the WONDERFUL memories you gave us will provide us with a LIFETIME OF SMILES……We Love You!!!

Mrs. Luzzi was the best. I have so many wonderful memories of great Sunday dinners at the Luzzi's house. The Luzzi's treated me so warmly and with such hospitality that they made me feel like a member of their family. She touched the lives of so many people- hers was a life well lived. Thanks for everything Mrs. Luz...I'll see you in heaven...

My grandmother, Gladys, was best friends with Pat. I will always remember the days spent at the beach with all of the kids and our
shore trips together. "Aunt Pat" always kept us laughing with her vivacious spirit. She was a wonderful woman and she will be missed dearly.

it is with immense sadness that we heard about the passing of Patricia Luzzi. She was a fabulous lady with an unmatched devotion to her family and friends. She was my mother-in-law's (Gladys Veitengruber) best friemd and they had many adventures together, Ireland, Rome, shopping, going to the theater, cards with the girlfriends (Indian Lake's version of The Golden Girls) and just having a good laugh. I still remember her dancing at my son's wedding with Gladys. She will be greatly missed by all. I am sure Pat & Sonny are up in Heaven having a great time and catching up with Gladys & George, Sr. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire family.

My memories of Mrs Luzzi are her cheering for me at a swim meet. I could hear her cheering for me in the water. No one, I mean no one made a sandwich like Mrs Luzzi. They were the best! They were so large you couldn't put your mouth around them.

I have known Pat my whole life. I've always enjoyed spending time with her and my mom. She was never at a loss for words and would help you in any way she could. (And she made the greatest meatballs!)
Whenever I would see her, even running into her at Marshall's, she would love to tell me about her grandchildren. They were very special to her. She especially would tell me about her eldest, Angela. She had a special place in her heart for her.
But in the last couple years Pat got so quiet. It was so unlike her.
I will miss "Patsy" (as my mom called her) very much. Knowing that she's now with Joe, Peter, and Sonny is a comfort.
Thank you, Patsy, for wonderful memories through the years. Your presence will be dearly missed ❤
