Peter Stefaniuk passed away at St. Clares Hospital in Denville on July 7, 2005. He was 90 years old.
Born in Hutysko, Ukraine he moved to the US in 1956.
He had been a shoemaker in Germany, and had lived in France.
Peter had lived in Paterson, NJ for many years before moving to Denville 12 years ago.
He had worked as a machinist at Path Equipment in East Paterson for many years before retiring in 1978.
He was an active member of St. Johns Ukrainian Catholic Church in Whippany, NJ.
His wife Katherine (Wynarczyk) of Denville survives him. His children Paul of Rockaway, and Jeannine Vlacich of Smithtown, NY also survive as well as his grandchildren Jennifer, Nino John, Catherine, and Jason.
Funeral from Norman Dean Home for services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ www.normandean.com on Wednesday July 13, at 9:00AM for a Mass at St. Johns Ukrainian Catholic Church in Whippany at 10:00AM. Friends may visit on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9PM.
