Evelyn E. McConchie (nee Jarry) passed away at St. Clares hospital in Denville on June 4, 2005. She was 85 years old.
Born in Lowell, MA she had lived in Bloomfield, NJ prior to moving to Denville 46 years ago.
Evelyn had been a homemaker and was a member of the Denville United Methodist Church, the United Methodist women, the quilters, and the Bristol Glen Auxiliary groups. She was a recipient of the churchs Wesley Award in 2003 for years of dedicated service.
She is pre deceased by her husband Raymond E. McConchie Sr. who passed away in 2002.
Her sons Raymond E. Jr. of Westminster, MD, and Richard McConchie of Buchanan, VA, survive her. Her grandchildren Jesse, Colin, and Kacey as well as her sister Janett Whitaker of East Windsor, CT also survive her.
