Frank C. Cestone, 84, died on Thursday April 18, 2013 at St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Paterson, NJ.
He was born in Glen Ridge and grew up in Montclair, later moving to the Indian Lake section of Denville in 1959 and lived there before moving to Lincoln Park in 2010.
Frank had served in the US Navy during the Korean War, and he was a facilities manager for Ohaus Scale Co. in Florham Park before retiring in 19__. After retiring he worked in real estate
He had played football and baseball while in High School, and he enjoyed playing golf and had been a member of Peace Pipe Country Club in Denville. He was a long time member of Indian Lake Community Club and was a member of Denville American Legion Post #390.
His love of Frank Sinatra could only be surpassed by his love of his family especially his grandchildren
His wife Theodosia died in 2004. He is survived by his children Darla Cestone of Milford, NJ, Frank and Loraine Cestone of Denville, and Alan Cestone of Andover, NJ as well as four grandchildren Frank Cestone, Alexandra Cestone, Alan Cestone and Matthew Cestone as well as his sister Lena Ostella of Montclair.
Funeral from the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave. Denville NJ, www.normandean.com, on Monday April 22, 2013 at 9:00 AM for a 10:00 AM Service at The Church of the Saviour 155 Morris Ave. Denville, NJ.
Friends may visit with the family on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
