Obituary of Charles Richard Seipp

Charles Richard Seipp Beloved husband and father Charles Richard Seipp, of Wharton, New Jersey, passed into eternal rest on May 18, 2005 at Morristown Memorial Hospital after a long battle with diabetes. Born in Philadelphia, Mr. Seipp grew up in Paterson, New Jersey and graduated from Eastside High School. He lived in Morris County most of his life, residing in Wharton for the past 11 years. He served in the US Army in Kaiserslautern, Germany and received an honorable discharge. Mr. Seipp retired as an engineer from New Jersey Bell Telephone Company after 34 years of service. He was extremely loyal and devoted to his family, the loves of his life. He coached soccer, basketball and baseball for many years in Mansfield Township and enthusiastically supported the endeavors of all his children and wife. He is predeceased by his parents, Charles and Violet Seipp, his sister, Violet Comer, and his daughter, Diane Seipp. Mr. Seipp is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Rita (Galop), his beloved children, Michael and his wife Lisa Seipp of Westhampton, NJ, Richard and his wife Jennifer Seipp of Mechanicsburg, PA, and Charles Seipp of Wharton, NJ, his daughter Donna Seipp of Bricktown NJ, and his beautiful grandchildren, Jeannette, Kevin, Nicole, and Elena Seipp. He is also survived by his sisters, Blanche Fisher, Dolores and Frank Monello, many loving in-laws and nieces and nephews. Visitation is from 2 5 PM on Sunday, May 22 at the Norman Dean Funeral Home, 16 Righter Ave, Denville, NJ www.normandean.com. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 11:00 AM with a burial immediately following at East Ridgelawn Cemetery in Clifton, NJ. To honor his memory, donations can be made to The Whippany Park High School Girls Soccer Team, Whippany Road, Whippany, NJ 07981.
