Cheryl Jean Olenowski (Burnell) passed away at Thomas Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia on April 14, 2013. She was 46 years old.
Born in Springfield, VT, she grew up in Edgewater, NJ before moving to Denville, NJ 24 years ago.
Cheryl was a coach for the Gems Cheer Stars, she also coached gymnastics and was an active member of the Rockaway Assembly of God Church. She loved animals, especially riding her horse Callie.
Cheryl is survived by her beloved husband of 26 years, Luke Olenowski of Denville, NJ.
Her loving children Ashley & Micah D’Orazio, Luke Olenowski, and Emily Olenowski all of Denville, NJ, as well as her granddaughter Lillyana D’Orazio. She is also survived by her parents John and Gloria Burnell, and her siblings Stephen & Michelle Burnell of Thornton, CO, Ruth & Matthew Gardner of Simsbury, CT and Paul & Amber Burnell as well as many nieces & Nephews.
Funeral services will begin on Friday April 19, 2013, at 10am at Rockaway Assembly of God Church 113 East Main St. Rockaway, NJ 07866. Interment will follow at Denville Cemetery. Friends may visit at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ 07834 on Thursday from 2-4PM. Visitation will continue later that night from 6-8PM at Rockaway Assembly of God Church. A memorial service will follow from 8-9PM at the church.
