Cookstown -- Lawrence B Shaw, III, age 41 of Cookstown and formerly of Rockaway Township, died Thursday April 21, 2005 at Community Medical Center in Toms River.
Mr. Shaw was born in Boonton Township, the son of Lawrence B Shaw, Jr. and Carol L Ridner.
He graduated from Morris Knolls High School, Rockaway in 1982. Mr. Shaw was a race car enthusiast who raced his own car. Lawrence III was also an avid reader and history buff. He was an Auto Mechanic, employed by Arrow Pontiac in Mount Holly.
He is survived by one daughter Meghan Shaw of Ocala, FL and one son Justin Shaw of Ocala, FL; two sisters: Robin Ann Keyworth of Tamiment, PA and Heidi Leigh Shaw of Cookstown;
a grandmother, Mildred I Ridner of Rockaway Township; a grandfather, Lawrence B Shaw, Sr. of Bushkill, PA; and 3 nieces: Raechel W and Kimberly T Keyworth of Tamiment, PA, and Nicole E Razzano of Cookstown.
Mr. Shaw is predeceased by his sister, Elise Anna Shaw in 1991; great grandfather, George L Decker in the early 1980s and great grandmother, Anna Decker in 1990.
Funeral Services will be held Monday at 11:00 am in the Norman Dean Home for Services, Inc., 16 Righter Avenue, Denville (www.normandean.com), with the Rev. George Imhoff officiating. Interment follows at the Rockaway Valley Cemetery in Boonton Township.
Friends will be received Sunday from 1 - 4:30 PM at the funeral home.
