Grandma- A lovely, strong women with a heart of gold! I always remember the memories of when I was a young girl growing up in Denville and your Sunday early afternoon visits. It was always a ritual to look for you and NuNu out the side window in the family room of Kitchell Road. You always sang to me as you slide me up and down the kitchen table. When we visited you in Garfield, we always found time to stroll down the street to Genevieve's to get some homemade chocolates. We sure did have the best chocolate Easter bunnies! And to stroll through the yard at Division Ave. to ponder upon your vegetables and grape vines.
You carried those loving, caring ways throughout your life. Pushing my children, your great grand children in the stroller in Denville Center and making plenty of trips to Denville Dairy!
Your great grand children will have fond memories of the Italian version of Great Grandma and the English version of Great Grandma!
Grandma you are resting peacefully now and when I saw you last you gently smiled. Please give a BIG hug and kiss to my Dad, NuNu, Eddie and our departed loved ones.
We will miss you and love you! Remember "Mangia" and keep singing as loud as you can!

Cara Zia, Memories of all the years God has bless us with as family, will live in my heart forever. My deepest regret is that many years and mile kept us apart and, through all you sorrow losing Eddie, Uncle Leo and Walt, I wasn't able to be there to lend support and comfort. I hope you can forgive me for this even though I shared your sorrow from afar. I have so many memories, but the fondest are the summer days we sat under the grapevines in your yard listening to the stories of your lives in Italy. I'll forever remember enjoying the delicious Radicchio you grew in your garden. I watched you tend to your plants like a mother to her children and, even though I was just a child myself, I treat my own plants with the same tenderness I learned from you. I'll remember the warm and happy holiday dinners our families shared. The Polenta and Umido, the Fritoles, the Crostoli. I can close my eyes and taste these wonderful meals. Times were so much simpler then and family meant so much. It's sad that my Eric never had the chance to really get to know you, Uncle Leo, Eddie and Walt. I know he would have truly loved knowing his family and his roots. Both our families have endured their share of hardships and loss, but we always managed. And that strength and courage is what makes our collective families who we are. But you Zia, you were the strongest and your strength and determination make you an inspiration to all you leave behind. We love you Zia and you will always be in our hearts. Riposa en pace Cara Zia.

Dear Grandma--Countless memories that we have while spending our Sundays, Special Holidays, and all the times I personally remember as a small girl, spending speciial visits with grandma, our walks, shopping, and visiting your friends...I cherish them! I will never quite get my Lasagna sauce like yours, but I'm getting close. I know you always tried to get me to like Palenta, and our trip to Wildwood with Eddie, Joey, Nunu..I will never forget. I feel as I've acquired my love for flowers and gardening from you grandma...The many times you have helped me with Katie and LB, while I worked, and the love you have given to all of us will always be remembered. Love you so much Grandma, and may you rest now...for we carry the memories and your legacy in all of us. Ti amo e mancherai tanto Yvonne, Bob, Katie and LB

A Life Well-Lived
Our beloved grandmother, the fond memories are far too numerous to list. However, we are ever so grateful and appreciative that you spent 8 fantastic months with our family in Arizona before you spent the past 10 years in NJ. The precious memories of your time spent here in AZ are ingrained in our hearts and minds forever, and nothing can ever take that away. It was especially rewarding and special for our children, Jessalynn and Justin, to have spent that time with you. They will always have that to recall and remember you by. Grandma, you will always be loved and dearly missed, but you are in a better place now, you were summoned to answer the Lord's calling. You are a special angel amongst others in Heaven, called to do the very important work required of the Lord. We love you and miss you. May God rest your soul. Walt, Cheryl, Jessalynn & Justin
