George Keeler Sr. Died on March 14, 2005 at Crestwood Nursing Home in Whippany, NJ He was born in Union and lived in Rockaway Twp. For 53 years. He was in the U. S. Navy during WWII, and the Korean War where he had served on Submarines and had received many medals and citations. He retired in 1985 from E. T. Killam Associates in Millburn, NJ. After retiring he taught school part time for the Morris County Vo-Technical School in Denville. He was a member of the Morris County 200 Club, a member of the Warner Lambert / Pfizer Retirees, and was a member of the Knights of Columbus No. 514 Dover, NJ, and he was a Grand Knight in the Fourth Degree in Boonton, NJ. He was a member of the N. J. Submarine Veterans Assoc. He is predeceased by his son George E. Keeler Jr. in 1992. He is survived by his devoted wife Florence, and his granddaughter Jessica Doerrer and great granddaughter Julia Lyn. He is also survived by a devoted nephew Gary Conlon. Funeral From the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave. Denville, NJ www.normandean.com on Saturday March 19, 2005 at 8:30 AM for a 9:30 AM Liturgy of Christian Burial Services at Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in Rockaway, NJ. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday Evening from 7 to 9 PM and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
